Main House Info

Clarens House is a unique, delightful holiday home in Clarens. It offers accommodation for 4 guests in two double bedrooms, one upstairs and one on the ground floor. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed and en-suite bathroom. The arrangement is open plan bedroom/bathroom. The lower bathroom has a shower and the upper has a bath.

The house is situated a minute’s walk from the centre of town for shopping and eating out at a variety of restaurants. The living area is spacious, light and airy, and boasts expansive views over the mountains west of Clarens. The huge safety glass sliding doors open onto relaxing patios of which one area is covered for outdoor living if it rains, and there is also a fire pit to gather around in the evenings.

The living area incorporates an open plan self-catering kitchen with gas stove and oven, as well as a built in braai. A wood burning fire place will heat the entire living area on cold days.

For entertainment, there is a Smart TV with Wifi, so guests can access DSTV, but for Netflix, your personal log in details will be required.

Parking for two to three cars is on the property.

Children are welcome as there are two additional fold up mattresses. The house is pet friendly.

4 guests – R2400 per night.

Weekend bookings – minimum two nights
Long weekends – a minimum three night booking, R2400 per night for the house, if less than 4 guests.

Tiny Home Info

Living well doesn’t necessarily mean living large.  This Tiny Home embraces small-scale luxury and enough space to live comfortably during your stay.  Two lofts, each with a double bed, dangling over the kitchen and living area.   Ideal for separate families or a larger group – to occupy the whole yard:  the Tiny Home in addition to the large Clarens House can host altogether 8 adults.

This original mud-build old garage was one of the first buildings in Clarens, nested amongst the orchard that was once part of Frost House’s enclosure next door.

Cosy, creative and unique.  Inside, you’ll find high-end finishes, practical interior – ideal for a family of four.  Relaxed atmosphere and serenity, especially waking up with the view from the small Heidi-like windows in the lofts.  Sleeper couch on the ground floor can also be used for an additional person/kid.

Kitchen fully equipped with everything you need, including minimalist appliances and cutlery to serve six.  Ensure that everyone in this tiny house is well acquainted, as the bathroom and shower is also part of the open plan idea fitting all into the 17m² floor spacing.
